Worship

 

Acolytes

Acolytes (ages +12) assist the rector during the service: light candles, carry the cross and torches, collect offerings, and especially during Holy Communion. Contact Joe Layman.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild team prepares the church before and after every service and occasion: laundry, polishing, candles, flowers, decor, and cleaning. Contact Doreen Mondlak and Fiona Brown.

Chalists

Chalists achieve a license by a priest in order to assist during communion. They wear vestments, process with the acolytes and clergy, and serve  monthly. Contact Tracy Tinsley

Greeters

Greeters are the first smile and the last wave at church. Whether you're a newcomer or a member, the greeters have all the information you need about St. Mark's. Contact Mike B to get involved.

Lectors

Lectors read two selections from the Bible. They also lead the parish in the varied ways of praying the Psalm that is appointed for each service. Lectors receive the readings in advance. Contact Tracy Tinsley.

Music

The second service music would be very sparse without a gifted team playing instruments and harmonizing  vocals. Contact to contribute to the Music Team. Contact the church office if you can string a cord.

Technology

The Technology Team assists the clergy in enabling the message to be heard clearly from the back pew to theother side of the world. Including microphones to putting videos online. Contact Elena Michel for details.

Ushers

Ushers are vital to the worship experience ensuring each individual has their needs met during service. They distribute bulletins and guide traffic during communion. Ushers serve monthly. Contact Brent Sparks.

Welcome

Welcome Invites newcomers, new members, and connects church volunteering. Greeters meet  before and after worship while coffee hour  extends hospitality between services. Contact Dottie Sheehan.
