Acolytes are typically youth of the church who assist at the altar during services.

Altar Guild
The Altar Guild prepares the altar and sacraments for our services. Contact the church office for details.
Chalists / LEMs
Chalists and Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest with communion during services.

Greeters
Greeters are the first smile and the last wave at church. Whether you're a newcomer or a member, the greeters have all the information you need about St. Mark's. Contact the church office to get involved.
Lectors
Lectors read two selections from the Bible. They also lead the parish in the varied ways of praying the Psalm that is appointed for each service. Lectors receive the readings in advance. Contact Tracy Tinsley.
Music
The second service music would be very sparse without a gifted team playing instruments and harmonizing vocals. Contact to contribute to the Music Team. Contact Alex Ancona if you can string a cord.
Technology
The Technology Team assists the clergy in enabling the message to be heard clearly from the back pew to theother side of the world. Including microphones to putting videos online. Contact the church office for details.
Ushers
The Ushers assist the Greeters as congregants enter the church, hand out bulletins, and help everyone get seated. The also assist with the collection and communion.

The Welcome Team makes sure everyone feels welcome at St. Marks, especially newcomers.
