Brandy Saltzman was born and raised in Winston-Salem in the United Methodist Church. She got her call to ministry when she was 11 years-old and hasn’t looked back since! She was very involved in her youth group growing up, going on different trips and outreach events. She met her eventual husband in her senior year of high-school. After graduating from West Forsyth High-School in 2012, she went to Pfeiffer University to gain her BA in Religion. She got engaged during college to her soon-to-be husband! With lots of love, grace, great mentors, and new life-long friends, Brandy graduated in 2016 from Pfeiffer and became the first person in her family to get a higher education degree. After that she got her first youth ministry job at a near by UMC church.
After getting married in the beginning on 2017, Brandy left her job and started summer courses at Pfeiffer’s Graduate campus in Charlotte to start working towards her MA. She became employed by a Baptist church in Charlotte and so her and Will moved back to his home town of Denver to be closer to Brandy’s school and work. At the church she was the Associate Minister, Admin, and Youth Director! During covid she also helped stream the services and became the main church stream tech moving forward. She graduated in 2020 with her MA in Practical Theology, making another first in her family. Brandy was ordained by her church as well.
This year Brandy parted ways with Grace Crossing Church and eventually found her way to St. Mark’s, where she has now become the new Children’s ad Youth Minister.
