All Are Welcome.
Our sign reads, "The Episcopal Church Welcomes You," and we mean it! It can sometimes feel intimidating walking into a church for the first time. Whether you are new to the area, church hunting, or interested in learning about the Episcopal Church, you are respected and welcomed. St. Mark's parishioners are known for our friendliness; put us to the test!
Our mission, "Building Community -- Living the Way of Christ," encourages us to support one another as we reach out to our members/visitors in Huntersville, North Mecklenburg County, and the world beyond. We believe in building community person to person, we believe in building community as Christ intended: the beloved children of God. Come grow with us in faith and action.
Our worship, Christian education program, outreach projects, and many fellowship events help equip us for our mission. We come from a place of strength and encouragement. We move to care for others outside our doors. It is a pleasure and a delight to invite new people into our parish family to share in your hopes and their dreams.
St. Mark's is a historic parish, and we are proud of our roots and heritage, but we are even more excited about our community we and the one we pray to become. Join us for Sunday worship or mid-week events, and we look forward to being enriched by your presence.
