Babies, Children, and Youth
Children of all ages are welcome at St. Mark's to participate in our Sunday services and become active members of the congregation as they grow their faith. See below for the programs available to your children based on age.
Babies & Toddlers
Nursery
While babies are welcome in the church during services, we also have loving nursery workers available to watch young ones in our Parish House. We invite all kids back into the service following the sermon for a blessing and to participate in communion.
Elementary Age
Sunday School
Kids age 5 - 10 are encouraged to join us between services during the school year for Sunday School led by volunteers, following the Weaving God's Promises curriculum developed by RiteFormation.
Grades 6 - 12
Christian Formation
We also offer Sunday School between services during the school year for tweens and teens, using the J2A (Journey to Adulthood) curriculum from RiteFormation. This age group also has the opportunity to participate in a confirmation class and sacrament.
Acolytes and Readers
Youth are welcome and encouraged to become a part of our worship team and serve as acolytes and lay readers during the service.
